A circus troupe based in Lancaster, UK. We feature talented magicians, jugglers, fire artists, aerialists, and more.
We harbour a deeply held love for the circus arts, and this passion is visible in every performance. Our versatility allows us to cater to a wide range of events, including (but not limited to) weddings, festivals, corporate events and parties. From daring acts with flaming clubs to blowing minds with impossible magic, there is something for all ages and imaginations to enjoy.

We may work together, but each member of The Half Moon Circus started their journey separately. Ultimately, we are a group of strong friends, coming together to do something we love.
Meet the Troupe
Hecate
Magic, fire arts, juggling, flow arts, acrobatics.
Our most experienced performer, Hecate’s passion for the circus arts started at a young age and never died. Performing with fluidity, comedy and plenty of flourish, she’s a fantastic addition to any event and a riot to be around. She and Artemis co-run The Half Moon Circus.
Artemis
Aerial, fire arts, magic, juggling, acrobatics, flow arts.
Artemis is a jack of all trades, with a particular love for aerial hoop, fire poi and magic. Having studied music and drama from an early age, they combine a honed knowledge of movement and rhythm with circus arts to create mesmerising aerial and fire shows.
Nyx
Aerial, flow arts.
The newest addition to The Half Moon Circus. Nyx not only specialises in aerial hoop and poi, but spends their free time practising cosmetic art, resulting in beautiful costume make-up for the whole troupe. Their artistry and attention to detail blend into their performances seamlessly.
